The Road that leads to the base of the Cog Rail comes in off Route 302 in Crawford Notch. It's a long drive in and the view of the MountWashington comes and goes behind clouds and trees. This particular day the clouds obscurred the top of Mount Washington and we were taking the first train up to the top. You can't tell from down here but the top is an ice covered wonderland at the moment.
